Rethinking visibility

Winter means darker walks and fewer chances to be seen. For our next harness concept, we're challenging the standard: no basic reflective stripes, no clinical safety vest aesthetic. Just elevated design that catches light when it matters.

The material

This is reflective fabric that doesn't look like reflective fabric. Instead of the usual high-vis strips, we're exploring materials with embedded reflective properties. Subtle by day, striking under light.

The effect is intentional, not loud. It's designed to blend into the harness until it needs to perform.

Reflective fabric under light: designed to activate without compromising aesthetics.

Early concept

This is a rough mockup. The reflective elements are distributed across high visibility zones: chest, sides, and back. The goal is to maintain clean lines while ensuring the dog is seen from multiple angles.

This isn't final. We're still refining the design, testing durability and ensuring the reflective properties hold up to daily wear and washing.

Why we're building this

Most reflective dog gear prioritizes function at the expense of design. Bright strips, neon colors and clinical execution. It works but it's generic.

We think you can have both. A harness that looks deliberate during the day and performs when visibility matters at night. No compromise on aesthetics. No compromise on safety.

This is still in development. If we can't execute it to our standard, it won't ship. We'd rather take the time to get it right than release something that feels halfway.
